Second Edition: Internet Governance and Policy in the Middle East and North Africa, 3-6 June 2014 - Beirut  

The four-day training program aims at providing a basic training on Internet Governance (IG) with a sharp focus on Internet policies relevant to the Middle East North Africa region (MENA). Targeted audience are civil society members; bloggers; journalists; human rights activists; scholars; students of law, political science, or international relations; public sector employees in communications and technology; and private sector employees at companies operating in the Internet industry. Participants are from: Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Sudan, Tunisia, Syria, and Yemen.
